OUR STORY
Our story is one many can relate to the “we should have bought back then” realization.

For years, during visits to Israel, we casually viewed apartments, only to return home and move on. Properties we once saw for $175,000–$180,000 are now worth over $2 million.
​
In early 2020, we sold our home in Canada and made Aliyah just as COVID began. We quickly discovered that the proceeds from our Canadian home would not cover even a much smaller apartment in Israel. Rather than overextend ourselves, we chose to rent and preserve our capital.

A few years later, we explored an opportunity to purchase land in Israel. What began as a simple informational meeting resulted in our first land investment for under $50,000. Since then, we have strategically acquired several small parcels across the country, with projected maturity timelines of 5–9 years.

Today, with Israeli housing prices among the highest globally, many future immigrants face significant affordability challenges. We believe there is a third path investing smaller amounts with controlled risk and long-term upside.
Our goal is not short-term profit, but to help future immigrants and the next generation build a meaningful foothold in Israel.

How did I choose the name Investors Overseas Services (IOS)?
​
After the Korean War, a young man by the name of Bernie Cornfeld came up with the idea of selling a new and innovative investment vehicle to returning soldiers. It was called a mutual fund. From the mid 1950s until 1975 Cornfeld’s company, called IOS or Investment Overseas Services, grew to be a huge international investment company with a wide portfolio of mutual funds.
My father was a salesman for IOS.

The company is no longer in business and the name became available so I took it as a legacy to Bernie Cornfeld and my father.
